I work as an interior architect. My interest in composition colour and stylish interiors has naturally led me in the direction of home textiles.

My first creations were woven pillows. I was eager to learn how patterns are born, how yarns intertwine. I very well knew I would not only work on my own patterns, but also employ a range of Lithuanian traditional weaves. It took me by surprise how beautifully they come to life in modern contexts. I was always curious to know how hand looms work, and I must admit I got instantly drawn to the trade.

Knitted pillows joined their woven counterparts later on in the process. I wanted to give a chance to knitted interior elements, to experiment with knitted patterns. And I loved it!
